Commissions

Butterfly Designs Creation, at this time, does have openings for commissions. Please
understand that a commission is not going to be an inexpensive doll. Commissions are for
those who have an idea, and would like the artist to create it.

Commissions are charged at different rates due to difficulty and time, plus the expense of
shipping and materials. This rate is subject to change with the popular demand for the artist.
All doll commissions begin at $100.00 except all mermaid commissions, which begin at
$150.00.  Coffin commissions begin at $50.00.
Payment is due partial up front to cover the estimated costs of making item as well as a 33%
(after material costs) deposit on the doll.

For example, for a $250.00 commission:
Estimate $60 in materials.
$250 - $60 = $190 divided by 1/3 = $62.70.
The buyer would pay via paypal or personal check (which must clear before beginning
commission) $123 up front.
I am sorry but I no longer except money orders, they are not as safe as other forms of payment.

Completion of the doll varies to current workloads at the time of the commission order.
Generally, though, the doll is guaranteed within three weeks of receipt of first payment.

Before second payment is required, photographs, from all angels as well as close ups, will be
e-mailed to buyer to get their feelings on the doll and to see if there are any changes they
might like to request. Once all is agreed upon, the buyer will pay the remaining balance as
well as shipping costs.

Butterfly Designs Creations only works with Barbie Sized dolls (generally barbie or Integrity)
and completes a full reroot, repaint and outfit for the doll.

All dolls will come with a doll stand and a brass nameplate inscribed with the dolls name.

If you would like a commission made for you, please
contact Butterfly Designs Creation to
propose the idea.
